Bonne année! I hope you had fun discovering le roi or la reine of the class for la Fête des Rois (Jan 6). Get ready for La Chandeleur coming up on Feb. 2 with pancakes and fortune telling! Note, however, that the poster of Francophone regions (Voyageons en français) and the wooden limberjack Ti-Jean are available only on line or at conferences.
Speaking of which, I hope to see you at my kiosk at the 2016 OMLTA spring conference in Toronto. I will also be doing a workshop on ideas for French Club.
Check us out at the booth called La Boutique/Rigodon at this weekend’s OMLTA conference in Toronto. La Boutique has wonderful French clothing items and Rigodon, of course, has lots of cultural activities for your classroom. I will be doing a workshop on storytelling and classroom activities on Saturday.
